Install Google Chrome Addons on Chrome Browser
First step is to check this page https://chrome.google.com/extensions, and see if the install button works on your chrome browser. If it doesn’t then your chrome browser doesn’t support addons. Hence, uninstall it by visiting the control panel –> Add/remove programs and remove ‘Google chrome’ or you can use free programs like ccleaner to delete the installed Google chrome browser.

Now, go to this page http://www.google.com/landing/chrome/beta/ and again download the Google chrome beta channel. The installation is fast and you will be able to add extensions.

Re-visit the Chrome extension page https://chrome.google.com/extensions – Now you will be able to install any Chrome addons without the need to restart the browser. Here are the screenshot.. add chrome addons How to Install Google Chrome Addons/Extension on Chrome
